From my life-long passions for jewelry and Italy to my deep family roots, ColleenKristek designs represent a large portion of my life.

For several years I lived in Southeast Asia and was introduced to a love for traveling and cultures across the world. This has resulted in the unique style I bring to each of my designs. The designs revolve around the natural beauty of stones coupled with the mystery that lies in the art and metal works of ancient civilizations. You will find a clean, simple and contemporary design within each original piece, reflecting both an old world feel with a contemporary influence.

The Kristek name has a deep meaning to me. My Grandfather, Leopold Kristek, was first generation Czech born in the early 1900’s near Prague. He had a great influence on me while I was growing up. I watched him struggle financially in life but was shown that money isn’t what drives a man to be happy. He always had a smile on his face and showed a deep love and respect for others. My grandfather’s unique, beautiful and giving nature inspired me at an early age to pursue my dreams, work hard and enjoy life to its fullest. Therefore, I chose to combine my first name, Colleen, with his last name, Kristek, as a tribute to the influence he had on my life. In an effort to pass this love on to my customers, I have incorporated each of these attributes into every one of my original designs. When you wear a piece of ColleenKristek jewelry, I hope that you feel this same special energy within yourself.

About the Collections

COLORFUL BEGINNINGS

My first collection, Colorful Beginnings, was created with a new start in mind – a fresh outlook on life that resulted in the beginning of ColleenKristek designs. Tourmalines are colorful semi-precious stones that, while set in sterling silver and 18K gold overlay, incorporate a contemporary edge to my designs.

ROME-ING GODDESS

Italy has always been a personal passion of mine and you will see this love reflected in the Rome-ing Goddess collection. Inspiration was derived from fascinating symbols of the old world such as ancient Roman coins, artifacts and gladiator shields. Combine these styles and you get the Rome-ing Goddess collection!

KALEIDOSCOPE

Kaleidoscope is an assortment of designs with one common theme – color. While many women enjoy accompanying jewelry with matching pieces, this is a collection of many stand-alone designs that are made for those that celebrate color and have a deep love for unique, bold style.

SERENITY

These beautiful, soft green stones stones within the Serenity collection were carefully chosen to give you a feeling of inner peace and serenity. On those restless and stressful days, take one look at your piece and the positive energy will help get you through the day.
